logo
A logo is the most important visual identity for a company. Many small businesses have very simple logos, or ones designed at least 15 to 20 years ago. These old logos tend to all look the same after a while.
A logo needs to stand out, and be distinctive, it needs to be professional, no matter how small the company. First impressions are key.
Following are some logos that I have designed
This logo is for the Fort Lewis Student programming council. I used the School's athletic logo, the Skyhawk, and integrated it into the "SPC" block text
This logo was something I made really quick for an Internosis project for the Air Force.
This and all the following logo are fictional companies, this Mesma Corporation logo illustrates a very simple and reproducible logo, it uses complex vector curves, yet it only consists of two colors.
Amaisda Biofuel is a fictional company with a strange name, it resulted from my random brushing of the keyboard. This logo uses simple arrows to illustrate the forward thinking of a biofuel company. Also - the use of Green in the logo shows the company's environmental concern.
Fictional yet again, though I'm sure that there is a 'what company' out there. This logo uses gradients which are very uncommon in logos, because of the difficulty in printing them on some things such as cloth and pens. But this logo would make a bold statement for a web-based company. For some reason, it seems to me that it would be a good name for an online t-shirt company
This is the original version of the timbox.net logo I made. I made it quickly, in only about 5 minutes, but I like the way it turned out.
Randomdactity, with an amusing name, and an even more amusing slogan. That parrot was the result of some random brush strokes. Then I flipped, rotated, patterned, and randomized the image.
Sock Sports. Hopefully it's not an old sweaty sports sock though!
I love the way this logo turned out. And so simple too - that hand there - it's just a character in the Wingdings font. It's the way it's framed with the text that makes it look good.
This logo is an example of how something so simple can still look so professional. Hint: Text spacing has a massive effect on the look of a logo.
XIKphoria is the kind of Cafe that you would find on campus, or in a downtown area of a town. Simple, and with a weird name.
PortalTech. This company could make web portals as the name suggests, but I like to think of them as a fancy door manufacturer.
