web

Web Design. I originally just started out experimenting with Microsoft FrontPage to make some quick pages for Volkswagen technical advice. Well, now that technical site has grown, it is very large now. Through that process, I have picked up a lot of know-how.

css

I love CSS. I remember the day I discovered it. It made my life so much easier. It cut the actual code in the page itself by more than half. It led me to be a notepad-coder.

The other great thing about CSS is that it made the pages of my site easily accessible to alternate browsers including phones and text browsers. It also made it very easy to make an XHTML standards-compliant page too. The greatest benefit was when I wanted to change something about the look. It only takes one file change.

Examples

timbox.net

First example? how about timbox.net? It's a pretty simple site, but it gets the job done well. And it's so easy to manage and change too!

VintageWatercooleds.com Tech - Link

This site is what started me down the web design path. I started out with Frontpage and a very simplistic site. I changed it over and over, and now I finally have a really good site layout and theme. I still manage it with FrontPage, but I don't let FrontPage do that much anymore...

The site is for enthusiasts of the first 20 years of the Watercooled Volkswagens. This includes the Fox, Golf Mk2, Rabbit, Cabriolet, Caddy, Scirocco Mk1 and Mk2, Jetta Mk1 and Mk2, Dasher, Quantum, and Corrado. I've tried to make the site much easier to use than most tech sites out there. This site is rich with illustrations and pictures. I also have Part numbers and an exhaustive list of links to help users find what they need.

eStaffing

I worked on theming this Sharepoint server setup for the Airforce Space Command. Obviously, I can't reveal any details, but here is a mock-up of the theme.

Vintagewatercooleds Tech Wiki

I made this site to replace the tech site with the wiki. This is so that I and some other specially chosen users can easily edit pages on the fly.

Plans are on hold for now, pending a newer server to run the site.

Greenlight Driving School - Link

Greenlight driving school is a small website I made for a company based in the Philadelphia Area. It is a one page site, but it does have customized list bullets.

US Rally Team Mockup site - Link

This site is a mock-up of the Usually Sideways Rally Team website. It was intended to be a graphical test for a shoping cart that is in development.

I am working on more websites every day. I will post them as they become available.
